Since 5th May 2015 we have been officially registered as non-profit association under the name "zansaitos e.V."
Our mission is to stand alongside massai families and the wider Tanzanian community offering support where it is needed most. We focus especially on:
- Access to quality education
- Essential medical care
- Reliable food and clean water supply
- Empowerment through sustainable self-help intititives

In 2013, we - Dany and Elisa from Munich - took a joint holiday to Zanzibar and Tanzania to explore the country and meet its people. During our first journey we had the privilege of getting to know many massai families personally, gaining a deep insight into their traditions and way of life. From these encounters, close and trusting relationships developed and many of the families have become very close to our hearts. The massai also introduced us to their country and to the rich diversity of the Tanzanian population in general.
The people of Tanzania are warm and full of joy, yet they face significant challenges. It quickly became clear to us: this is a place where we want to help. It is an exciting task - meaningful and rewarding - which we approach with passion, energy and great enthusiasm.
Through our comittment we have had the unique opportunity to meet people from a completetly different cultural background, work alongside them, and provide direct support to many.
With deep dedication we strive to assist the Tanzanian population on their path toward improved living conditions and greater opportunities for the future. Thank you for all your incredible support!
